Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 2026-11-September
After decades long careers in technology, we built our business to do good in the world, in the most impactful way we could envisage. We won’t do anything to compromise the privacy of our Customers.
Feel free to ask any questions about privacy: info@audiblesight.ai The bottom line is we want to do what’s right. We won’t compromise any Customer’s privacy for financial benefit nor for any other reason. We will treat our Customer’s privacy to the same high standard of care as we would want our privacy to be treated.
We do not share any Customer account data with third parties, for marketing purposes nor for any other purpose. We do not sell data.
We ask for the minimum amount of profile data possible, just enough to effectively provide our Services and no more.
We do not save or maintain credit card details on our servers. We pass through credit card data to a market-leading processor that has a stellar security record and more intense security protocols than we could reliably provide on our own.
We do not save or maintain Customer passwords on our servers. Audible Sight employees and System Admins have no access to Customer passwords. We pass through password data to a premier authenticator that is widely used by brand-name websites and one that has a reputation for providing an industry-leading security platform.
Our underlying technology is fast-evolving. For the benefit of blind and low vision people, we are obsessed with significantly improving our Services in future iterative releases. We expect to issue fairly rapid releases. We periodically review internally a cross-section of our Customer’s AD videos:
- to hasten the continuous improvement process, and
- to raise the quality of the Services that we provide to our Customer, and
- to help our Customer to improve their AD text, and
- to look for opportunities to improve word pronunciations in AD audio, and
- to automate even further so even less customer time will be required to create high-quality AD videos.
Please do not upload any videos that contain private or sensitive information. Unrelated to this, as a general reminder: Please do not upload any video content that you or your employer do not own or any videos that violate any copyrights.
We collect data about the images in our Customer’s videos and the types of audio description that you use and add. We do not attach identifiers to the data, such as the Customer name or your organization name. We collect this data solely to feed into an image recognition model (similar to a Large Language Model) to train it to improve the AI-generated audio descriptions that are served to Customers in Audible Sight. In this way, over time, the Customer will need to manually add fewer additional audio descriptions and make fewer edits to the audio descriptions that are AI-generated. In other words, the more training data that we submit to our model, the faster it can learn. That in turn will reduce the degree of effort required for our Customers to create AD videos. It’s a virtuous circle. The easier and less effort required, the more content owners will use the Services and the more videos that will become accessible to blind and low-vision people.
We use Customer operating system details, browser data, and session data strictly for support purposes and to resolve bugs. For any technical issues that arise, we want to solve them as quickly as possible for our Customer’s benefit.
We reserve the right to flag any videos that we review that violate our Terms and Conditions. We will notify the Customer by email and text if ever that occurs.
We won’t ever allow others to access a Customer’s videos except in the case of (a) death of a Customer, (b) Customer leaves the employ of the company that owns the content, or (c) if required by law. We promise to communicate first with the Customer by email in the event of (b) or (c).
